Australian punk rock powerhouse Amyl and The Sniffers brought their blistering North American tour to The Anthem in Washington, D.C., on June 10, 2026, delivering a high-octane performance that left the packed waterfront venue buzzing. The Melbourne-based quartet, known for their unapologetic attitude and explosive live shows, proved once again why they have become one of the most celebrated punk bands on the international stage.
The house lights dimmed, and Shania Twain’s “Man, I Feel Like a Woman” blasted through the speakers, igniting a sing-along with the audience. It wasn’t long before Amyl and The Sniffers took the stage and launched into their set with “Control,” setting off the crowd. Frontwoman Amy Taylor commanded the stage from the opening seconds; her raw presence and boundless energy grabbed the attention of fans throughout the entire venue. The band followed with “Is Mine” and “U Should Not Be Doing That,” setting an intense pace that didn’t let up the entire evening.
Taylor stalked the stage with confidence, delivering every lyric with conviction while encouraging fans to match the band’s energy.
